The Texas Crime Stoppers Council wishes to congratulate
all the Texas Crime Stoppers programs that will be celebrating their
25th Anniversary and 30th Anniversary in 2011.
The Crime Stoppers program in Texas owes its success to all the
citizens who contributed thousands of volunteer hours of hard work,
and the unflinching dedication of local law enforcement.
As Texas Crime Stoppers, you should be proud of your results. You
and your programs are responsible for over One Billion Dollars in
property recovered and narcotics seized since the first Texas Crime
Stoppers program began operating in El Paso in 1978. This is no
mean feat. The Office of the Governor wants to recognize your service
to the state at the Annual Conference in McAllen, October 24-26,
2011. We are hoping that representatives of your program will attend
the Annual Conference.
Please be assured that each and every one of you is very much appreciated
for your service to your community and to Texas.
Sincerely,
Dr. Betty Bosarge
